Related Tag FAQs

The public launch of our Related Tags feature last week has generated great interest. Many publishers have already given it a try and are reporting an impressive increase in revenue. For those of you who are still curious but haven’t started using the feature yet we’ve put together a handy dandy list of the most frequently asked questions.

How do I integrate the Related Tags feature?

Integration is quite easy; all you need to do is copy the Related Tags html code (shown below) and paste it where you’d like the Related Tag unit to appear.

Where should I place the Related Tags?

You can add the Related Tags feature anywhere on your website pages. However, it is recommended to add it as high as possible on the page, so that all page viewers will be exposed to the ads.

Can I use only the Related Tags feature or do I also have to use the standard Infolinks ads too?

The Related Tags feature is to be used in addition to our standard In Text ads. The Related Tags will only work if you have the Infolinks script integrated on your page and it does not function on its own.

Can I display more than one Related Tags unit on a page?

Yes, you can use multiple Related Tags units on a page but please do so wisely as you don’t want to clutter the page. We suggest that you place the first Related Tags unit at the top of the page and progress from there. If your site is rich with images it is recommended that you add a Related Tags unit under each image.

Can I change the color and size of the Related Tags?

As this is the first version of the Related Tags feature, the color and size of the Related Tags are standard. In future versions we plan to offer the option to customize.

I have further questions about the Related Tags feature, who can I contact?

Please feel free to email support@infolinks.com.

As you can see, the Related Tags feature is a great addition to Infolinks. If you haven’t done so already go on and give it a try!
